Name: Charles H. Bohrer (d. 1918)


Historical Note: Charles H. Bohrer was from Boston, Massachusetts.  He graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1876.  In 1878 he was granted a degree of Analytical Chemist.  His thesis entitled “Beer and Its Physiological Effects” was the first thesis accepted by Purdue University.  Bohrer later moved to Winthrop Beach, Massachusetts.  He passed away February 20, 1918.
