Papers of Charles Lawrance, including a publication by C. H. Lawrance and a letter from A. A. Potter, Dean of Engineering, dated September 1, 1923, addressed to the Members of the University Staff. This was a cover letter for mimeographed papers, written by the younger engineering professors.

Biographical Note

Charles H. Lawrance received the degree of Mechanical Engineer from Purdue University in 1911, and beginning in 1907 was connected with the University as an Instructor and an Associate Professor of Applied Mathematics.

He died May 27, 1927.

Some Problems In Class Room Administration, by C. H. Lawrance, Associate Professor of Applied Mechanics, Purdue University.

Letter addressed to the members of the university staff, by A. A. Potter, Dean of Engineering, dated September 1, 1923. This was a cover letter to mimeographed copies of papers younger engineering professors had presented at an engineering staff meeting, and Potter thought other staff members would benefit from reading them. C. H. Lawrance's paper was among them.
