Scope and Contents: During the 1970s oral history interviews were conducted under the auspices of the Office of Publications; the recordings and transcripts were turned over to the Archives and Special Collections for preservation and to allow individuals to access them. In the summer of 2006, Purdue Libraries launched the Oral History Program to capture reminiscences by individuals who have had an impact on the history of Purdue University.
