Scope and Contents: The Dale W. Margerum papers (1955-1974; 0.1 cubic feet) consist of miscellaneous papers collected by Professor Margerum.  Two documents are related to Dr. Henry C. Brown, 1979 Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry; letter from the Secretary of the Nobel Committee of the Royal Academy of Science, stating that the Nobel Committee had received Margerum’s nomination of Professor H.C. Brown for the Nobel prize and an autobiographical introduction from the book “Boranes in Organic Chemistry,” by Herbert C. Brown, Ithaca New York: Cornell University Press, 1972.  The papers also include a pamphlet from the opening of the Richard Bendridge Wetherill Laboratory of Chemistry.
