Name: Henry, Hugh
Historical Note: Henry is a native Hoosier from "Daylight", Indiana. He graduated from Purdue in 1938. He talks about campus life, starting first co-op house, and Wesley [now Wesley Foundation across from Memorial Union]. Henry talks about serving in World War II in Armored Division. He served in the Battle of the Bulge. After the war he returned to Indiana and was a Farm manager before working at Purdue in Agronomy. In his retirement he has assisted with beautification of the median on Cumberland Avenue, and grounds maintenance at Westminster Village where he lives. Henry also volunteers at Prophetstown State Park.
