<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Haring is native of Prescott, Arizona and recipient of Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate from Arizona State University. She was the second Dean of the College of Education, 1991-2001, Prior to assuming the deanship at Purdue, she was Dean of the College of Education at University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She reflects on changes implemented during her tenure at Purdue: &nbsp;curriculum reform, 1998-1999, revision of student teaching experience, outreach to local schools, mentoring and the College of Education Reading Recovery Program. She also talks about her plans for retirement.</span></p>
