Name: Keck, Lloyd E., 1917-1976

Historical Note: Lloyd E. Keck was born in Posey, Indiana on May 27, 1917 to Oscar D. Keck and Cora M. Aldrich Keck. He graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1935 and attended Purdue University from 1936-1939. While at Purdue, he belonged to the American Institute of Electrical Engineers, Eta Kappa Nu, Army R.O.T.C., P.O.M.M. (Army’s honorary organization), Scabbard and Blade and Tau Beta Pi.  Keck graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1939. He went on to work at Westinghouse and invented several patented devices. Keck later served his country during WWII. Little more is known about him.
