Scope and Contents of the Materials

Robert J. Gagen engineering tools (1933; .25 cubic feet) consists of three sets of engineering drafting/compass tools used by Gagen as a Purdue student. One of the sets has "Purdue" inscribed on the case.

Biographical Note

Robert J. Gagen was a member of the Purdue University Class of 1933. He later served his country as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army during World War II, Southwest Pacific Theatre. He died as a prisoner of war at Camp Moji (Hospital) Fukuoka, Kyushu Island, Japan.
